  • Usage data: clips you create, publish, like, or comment on.
  • Technical data: anonymized view counts using hashed IP and User-Agent (we do not store raw IP addresses).
  • Settings: your preferences such as language, clip format, and notification choices.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the service.
  • To authenticate you and keep your session active.
  • To display community content and personalize your experience.

4. Cookies

We use a single session cookie (cs2_session) required for authentication. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Your language preference is stored in your browser's localStorage.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Published clips are visible to other users on the community feed. We use Google and Steam for sign-in, and Paddle to process Founder subscription payments (see Payments below) — please refer to their respective privacy policies. Beyond these providers, we do not share your personal information with third parties.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, signed session tokens, and secure credential storage. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

8. Payments

Founder subscriptions are processed by Paddle as merchant of record. Paddle handles checkout, payment details, tax calculation, invoices, and subscription billing. GoClipIt does not store card numbers, bank details, CVC codes, or full billing addresses; we only store Paddle identifiers, subscription status, entitlement state, and minimal metadata needed to provide Founder features.
