1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GoClipIt, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

GoClipIt provides automated highlight clip generation from Counter-Strike 2 demo files. We analyze your game demos, detect notable moments, and generate video clips synced to music.

3. User Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must not upload content that violates any laws or third-party rights.
• You must not abuse, disrupt, or attempt to exploit the service.

4. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of your uploaded demo files and generated clips. By publishing clips to the community feed, you grant GoClipIt a non-exclusive license to display them on the platform.

5. Service Availability

We strive to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.

6. Limitation of Liability

GoClipIt is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

8. Music & Audio Content

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to use any music you upload. GoClipIt does not verify copyright status of uploaded audio. For personal, non-commercial use this is generally fine. If you intend to use generated clips commercially, you must ensure proper licensing. Content may be removed upon request from rights holders.

9. Founder Subscriptions

Founder is an optional paid subscription billed at the price shown at checkout. Payments, taxes, invoices, renewals, and payment method handling are processed securely by Paddle as merchant of record. Founder perks such as priority processing, additional active renders, clean exports, storage benefits, early access, and the permanent Founder badge may depend on subscription status as described in the product UI. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the Paddle-hosted customer portal when available.

The subscription renews automatically each billing period (monthly, currently €7/month) until cancelled. You can cancel at any time via the customer portal (Founder page → Manage billing); cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep the paid perks until then. The Founder badge is permanent and remains after cancellation.

Refunds are handled by Paddle in accordance with its refund policy. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the initial purchase; by starting the subscription you consent to immediate provision of the service, and any refund may be reduced proportionally to the service already provided. To request a refund, contact Paddle via your receipt email or contact us. If the initial founding payment is refunded or charged back, the permanent Founder badge and the reserved Founder slot are revoked together with the subscription; refunds of later renewal payments do not affect the badge. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
